Vastu or Feng Shui?
Indian culture and Chinese culture: two types of wisdom which are both near and far at the same time. Both belong to Eastern wisdom, they have passed down their ancient disciplines from millennium to millennium until they reach us today with the same vitality and authenticity. Sometimes it isn’t easy to understand them and at this point, our Ching Oracle experts intervene to make some inescapable aspects clearer from one or the other disciple. This section is dedicated to Vastu, the Indian tradition of architecture, which acts on living space to favour the psychophysical well-being of whoever lives there, bringing luck and prosperity. |
Vastu is linked to the feeling that each of us feels when we enter an environment. If when entering a house for example we perceive any unease, this means that the rules of Vastu have not been applied correctly and the environment does not profit from good energy. As the name suggests, Vastu is linked to nature and its elements. The characteristics and main rules of Vastu are linked to the internal architecture of every place, to the forms and energies which the objects can transmit to whoever lives in or enters this space. According to Vastu practice, every home, place and space has a soul. The cardinal directions favoured by Vastu are north and east as they bring magnetic and thus positive energy. As for Vastu tips for home, all the family will live in harmony and will never face money problems as they will live in prosperity. The elements of nature (earth, water, air, fire) act in harmony with the environment and bring well-being and luck. One tends to flee from Nature and for this reason we often experience stressful situations. We must learn therefore to surround ourselves with Nature and especially in our daily space. Using the elements of Nature stimulates the mind and favours luck.
ELEMENTS OF NATURE and VASTU TIPS FOR HOME
EARTH
it is important to carefully choose the physical place where to construct the building and it is crucial to check that this is good land.
AIR
All the sources of Air must be placed in the North and North East for correct application of the Vastu discipline. Sources of air include ventilators, air conditioning and obviously windows.
WATER
In Vastu, water sources must be placed in the North East. These include taps but also fountains or swimming pools.
FIRE
The correct direction for Fire is the South East. It is therefore in this direction that the kitchen should be situated.
ETHER
The Space in a house or in any environment is fundamental and is used to give fresh air and light and therefore positive energy.
